Jubilee bandstand: The Temple Band

  • Main Street Park 57 Main Street Wilton (map)

With roots stretching all the way back to 1799, The Temple Band isn't just a musical group—it’s a living piece of New Hampshire heritage! This dedicated volunteer ensemble has been the heartbeat of local celebrations for over two centuries, and they’re bringing that timeless spirit to Wilton’s 250th.

Clad in striking Colonial-style uniforms, the band will transport you through time with a vibrant repertoire that spans from light classical masterpieces and beloved Broadway hits to cinematic medleys. As the sun starts to set on this special day, gather with your neighbors and sing along to This Land Is Your Land — words will be on hand so no one has to sit it out. Then join together one last time as The Temple Band sends everyone home with hearts full and smiles wide, closing out the day with a triumphant performance of Stars and Stripes Forever.
