Step back into the 18th century at Whiting Park for an immersive, all-day living history event. Witness the sights and sounds of the American Revolution as the 1st NH Regiment and the 10th MA Regiments brings the past to life with interactive displays of camp life, authentic militia formations, and the thunderous roar of musket volleys and cannon fire.
Wilton's Celebration of America's 250th Anniversary will come to life with living history from two outstanding Continental Army reenactment groups. The 1st NH Regiment is a dedicated group of historical educators who recreate the most storied unit of "regulars" from the Continental Army — from the front lines of Bunker Hill to the winter at Valley Forge, this unit served longer than any other in the Revolutionary War, 8 years and 8 months, and today they carry on that legacy by sharing the authentic stories and skills of New Hampshire's original patriots. Joining them is the 10th Massachusetts Regiment, a living history group that interprets the men and women of the Revolution through the lens of one of Massachusetts' proud Continental infantry units — soldiers who fought at Saratoga and Monmouth and stood shoulder to shoulder with their New England neighbors in the long struggle for independence.
