Join us for a joyous and festive celebration of Wilton’s 250th anniversary! The Let Freedom Ring Procession is a community-wide walk that honors the tradition of the Liberty Bell as a symbol of American independence.
We will gather at Whiting Park and make our way ¼ mile together through town in a chorus of ringing bells. Led by the American Legion, the fife and drums of the 1st NH Regiment, and the flag carrying colorguard of the Sons of the American Revolution, we will move together toward the Revolutionary War Memorial for a special commemorative ceremony.
We encourage everyone to bring their own bell to add to the music of the march! If you don't have one, be sure to arrive early—the first several hundred participants will receive a commemorative Wilton 250 Let Freedom Ring bell specifically designed for this historic occasion. The more bells we have, the merrier the celebration!
